Product Advantages

Manufactured via Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) technology, this square tungsten carbide plate eliminates internal micro‑pores that normally occur in conventional sintering, achieving near‑full density and consistent microstructure across the whole blank. Polished flat surface delivers high dimensional accuracy and excellent flatness for downstream tool fabrication.

It features high transverse rupture strength, improved fatigue resistance and enhanced impact‑chipping performance compared with non‑HIP carbide plates. Outstanding wear resistance extends service life when applied for industrial cutting tools, punching dies and wear‑resistant components. Good brazing property supports reliable assembly for tipped‑tool production. OEM customizable dimensions and grades are available to match varied project requirements, lowering overall tool replacement and maintenance costs for end‑users.

Important Usage Notes
1
Tungsten carbide is hard yet brittle. Avoid violent sudden impact and heavy shock load during handling, installation and operation to prevent cracking or edge chipping.
2
Maintain sufficient coolant during grinding, cutting or brazing processes. Rapid temperature fluctuation will trigger thermal shock and cause invisible internal micro‑cracks.
3
Strictly control brazing temperature. Over‑heating will degrade carbide mechanical performance; insufficient temperature leads to weak bonding between plate and tool substrate.
4
Use diamond grinding wheels for carbide machining. Fine carbide dust generated in grinding is harmful for respiration; ensure proper ventilation and wear certified protective equipment.
5
Store polished blanks in dry, clean storage space. Prevent collision between plates to protect polished flat surfaces from scratches and dents before further processing.
6
Inspect plates for hidden cracks after grinding or EDM processing. Do not adopt defect‑containing blanks for finished cutting‑tool production.
